Geolenses - Geo Cafe Mimi Cappuccino Violet 15mm Circle Lens Review

imageKonichiwa! Eeeek, it's so close until my holiday to Japan, exciting o(≧o≦)o image

So, I wanted to get a pair of lovely lenses for going away and the wonderful GeoLenses (who are doing some pretty darn awesome offers at the moment by the way!) provided me some lenses. I chose these ones, which are part of the Mimi Cappuccino series, because I loved the grey ones so much (see review here) and these ones are just as lovely! image

Let's start with some more pictures, because they're fun ;3

Color: 5/5

I was sort of wary about the color of these lenses at first, going by the image of the lens up about, I wasn't sure how it would look on my eyes.

I'm quite please with how they look! I think the color is subtle, but at the same time I bet people would take a double glance thinking "wow, there's something really cool about their eyes!"

The purple gives your eyes that mesmerizing aspect we all seek, and so this is why I love these lenses so much! (╯3╰) Not to brag, but I really think my eyes look so cool with these lenses! image

Enlargement: 5/5

Geo Cafe Mimi Cappuccino Violet 15mm Circle Lens Comparison

Waaaaaaaah! (╯°Д°)╯Look at the difference! Eeeek, can I just wear these forever?? Haha!

At 15mm the enlargement of these lenses is pretty awesome, as you can see from the picture above. You can look like a doll in no time ^-^

Comfort: 4/5

I'm not sure why, but for some reason it took me a little while to get these on my eyes! Maybe it was just me being silly, or my eyes for having a funny few days! But once they were on, they're super comfortable and I didn't notice my eyes drying out.

Now, to finish off with some selfies! :3 (Excuse to pose a lot) x3

Japan Checklist / What should I bring with me to Japan?

Hello, fellow Japan-goer! image

So, you're going to Japan and not sure what to bring with you? I'll try to cover everything I can think of to help you before you go! I've been to Japan before and I'm going again next week, so this is sort of to help me organise myself too! ^_^ I'll more than likely be adding more to it as the days go by too.

image

First things first: The Journey Checklist!

I live in Ireland, and all in I'll be travelling for about a day (Ireland - London - Japan) so I like to bring a separate bag with all the essentials that I'll need to keep in my hand luggage.

Japan journey check list

Notes**

  • Bring a mini deodorant with you on the plane and also pack some in your suitcase! It's not sold in very many stores in Japan, so you might have a hard time finding some if you don't pack your own.
  • Speak to a doctor about flight socks. It's very important to keep active on long haul flights to ensure no clots are caused. Flight socks can help with this, although opinions vary. Do a little research :)

Japan Checklist!

I'm just gonna write this because I'll more than likely add to it, plus you can just copy and paste it. Most of it is general holiday stuff :3

image Passport
image Boarding Tickets
image Travel documents (Insurance, back up tickets/maps/emails because i'm ocd)
image Charged Cameras (for me personally)
image Deodorant (as mentioned!)
image Clothes & undies - check the weather for the time you're staying.
image Comfortable shoes - you'll be walking A LOT. Comfort > style this time!
image Light pajamas
image Suncream
image Monies! & credit cards
image Toiletries (may need another little bag)
image Travel Iron / hairdryer
image Adapter - be sure to check out which one you'll need here
image Swimming gear - if the weather is nice!
image Medication - any personal meds, paracetamol, inhalers, tablets for tummy bugs
image Little hand cloth - see notes!*
image Skin care products - cleanser, toner, moisturiser, lip balm, spot cream

Notes**
  • Clothing - if you're a female, please don't bring low cut tops. The cleavage area is extremely sexualised in Japan, and therefore you will get a lot of stares and low opinions if you do show. (It sucks, I know). Feel free to show as much leg as you want though, I seen plenty of butt cheeks *_*
  • Check with your hotel / apartment is case they have an iron and hair dryer for you.
  • Hand cloth - he public bathrooms don't usually have something you can dry your hands on so one of these are super handy to carry with you!

Phew! Now that I've made a check list, I feel a little more relaxed!

Please, if you can think of anything else, let me know!

Thank you for reading <3 I hope this helps you!
